I am tempted to try to describe the love that exists between these two, but the pictures say it better then any long-winded words of mine could ever do.
Chance brought Kerstin and Ryan together – across great distances and apparent odds. The vivacious, radiant (vegetarian) German girl, and the cheerful, steady, (meat-loving) Australian met at a work party in Vancouver, Canada a few years ago and the rest, as they say, is history.
I had such a wonderful time with these two. I had no issues getting Kerstin and Ryan to snuggle in front of the lens, they could lose themselves in each other at a moments notice. My problem was getting them to focus on me once in a while! We divided up the afternoon – first, we went tromping around the Alberta countryside. We explored some old ruins, side-stepped cow patties to get to a forested patch, and the two of them laughed and snuggled in the bright August sun. From there, we headed into the city of Edmonton and its quaint Whyte Avenue. After some more snuggling in a GORGEOUS old red phone booth, it was time for some cheesecake before this most lovely and lovey-dovey of couples had to race off to the airport.
Kerstin and Ryan, this was an absolutely wonderful day. Thank you for sharing your love with me and my camera.
